SanMarco Acrysil Kp 1
ACRISYL KP 1 is an outdoor wall coating with an acrylic-siloxane binder base, excellent resistance to water and permeability to vapour, with a compact finish. It creates a rough layer resistant to the aggressive action of weathering.Its curved granules give it a filling and masking power that smoothes out any irregularities on the surface. Produces an effect very similar to that of mineral plasters. ACRISYL KP 1 is especially suitable for restoration works.

Surface preparation
  • Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust and grease.
  • Growths of fungus, algaes or moss should be removed by wire brushing and water
  • Any surface cracks or holes should be raked out and filled with Duracoat Internal & External Skimcoat
  • Treat surface for moulds and algaes if present with Duracoat Fungicidal Wash.
  • In the case of highly alkaline fresh masonry, apply the Duracoat Alkali Resistant Primer to provide excellent adhesion and integrity.
