ZAWADIKA NA MARANGI LOYALTY REWARD PROGRAM
Terms and Conditions

The benefits of Zawadika Na Marangi Reward program offered at the sole discretion of Basco Products (Kenya) Ltd. The benefits of the program are offered at the sole discretion of Basco Products (Kenya) Limited. Basco has a specialised website (loyalty.bascopaints.com) that runs a reward program for painters registered in Basco’s national database. As part of its additional services, Basco allows only the approved members to participate and collect points. This page lists down the terms and conditions of membership and the privacy policy of the program that governs the collection and use of points.

INTERPRETATION

a) The following definitions and rules of interpretation apply to the terms and conditions mentioned below:
Account: Contains personal details of the member’s account including points and rewards.
Active members: Information about any member’s collected or redeemed points within the previous 12 calendar months
Application form: Data about the online application form completed by an applicant aiming to become a member.
Claim: Details about the member’s claim for points that have to be be awarded to his account in accordance with the conditions.
Commencement: The date of the contract as defined in conditions.
Contract: The application form.
Zawadika Na Marangi Rewards claim form: The online claim form created for members to submit reward claims.
Member: An applicant whose application form is accepted by Basco.
Points: The Zawadika Na Marangi reward points that have been awarded to a member’s account.
Redemption partners: The various companies and businesses that offer rewards frequently.
Rewards: The various products, services, and offers made available by the redemption partners to members.

Below are a few conditions that need to be fulfilled:

  • Headings in these conditions shall not affect their interpretation.
  • Any person, whether corporate or unincorporated or not having separate legal personality
  • A written reference includes faxes and e-mail.
  • Any obligation in the conditions on a person not to do something includes, without limitation, an obligation not to agree, allow, permit or acquiesce in that thing being done.
  • References to Conditions are to these Conditions.
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

To be eligible for membership under the program, the applicant must:

  1. Be a natural person and be at least 18 years of age.li>
  2. A member can only hold one account
  3. Employees of Basco Products (K) Ltd. and their relatives are not eligible to become members.
  4. Employees of dealers or stockholders of any Basco Products and their families/relatives are prohibited in this promotion. If found all points will be void and any gifts redeemed and collected will be charged at market value to the dealer.
  5. Basco Products (K) Ltd. has the right to accept/ reject or terminate any member at its discretion without giving any reasons.
  6. The Decision of the management of Basco Products (K) Ltd is final.
APPLICATION OF CONDITIONS
  1. Applicants who would like to join this scheme need to register on loyalty.bascopaints.com or download the Duracoat Zawadika Na Marangi app, which is available on Google Play Store. You can also dial the USSD code *338#.
  2. Once the applicant has registered, he/she has to agree to all terms and conditions of Duracoat Zawadika Na Marangi promotion.
  3. Basco Products(K) Ltd. reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions from time to time and notifies the members by posting on its website loyalty.bascopaints.
  4. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to change any gift items it feels fit.
  6. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to restrict, suspend, discontinue, or cancel partial or the whole of this program at its discretion without giving any notice and all points will be considered null and void.
  7. If the promotion is terminated, the points accumulated by members will be nullified and Basco Products (K) Ltd. will not be liable to give any reasons whatsoever.
  8. Points are non-transferable.
  9. Points can neither be redeemed for any other item that is not on the rewards program nor can be exchanged for cash.
  10. The points of a deceased person will be null and void and cannot be inherited by his/her next of kin.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP BY BASCO PRODUCTS (K) LTD

Basco Products (K) Ltd. can terminate any membership under the following circumstances:

  • If a member breaches any of the terms and conditions..
  • Gives false or misleading information.
  • Any fraudulent activity.
  • Misuse the programs (such misuse to be determined by Basco Products (K) Ltd. at its sole discretion.)
  • Is in violation of the law or any regulation in connection with the use of membership benefits.
  • In case of any pandemic disease, natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanoes, a government strike, or any major political instability in the country or in the case where the company falls into financial problems the promotion will become null and void.
  • Any inactive member who stays on the platform with zero activity in the last three months from the date of registration or has done zero activity for over three months from the last transaction; Basco Products (K) Ltd. can terminate the membership and all points will be null and void.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP BY MEMBER

Members can terminate their membership by emailing their details to loyalty@bascopaints.com

HOW TO ACCUMULATE POINTS

You can accumulate points by following the two important steps given below:

Step 1

- Kindly download the Zawadika Na Marangi app from Google Play Store or dial *338#
- Buy a Duracoat / Basco products that is part of the promotion. Open the tin/bucket to find a scratch card.

Step 2

- Scratch the secret code and send it to *338# or simply follow the instructions on your and you will be rewarded with points.

HOW TO REDEEM POINTS

To redeem the points, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Open the Zawadika Na Marangi app.
  • Click on menu button.
  • Hit the redeem button or dial *338# to follow the instructions.
CONDITIONS FOR REWARDING EARNED POINTS
  1. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to amend the reward mechanism for the accumulated points.
  2. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to change any gift items it feels fit.
  3. Points earned by all the members will be checked and verified by Basco Product (K) Ltd.
  4. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to request proof of purchase from members on a case-to-case basis.
  5. Basco Products (K) Ltd. reserves the right to hold the points or cancel the redemption if the points earned by the members are not genuine or if they fail to submit proof of purchase.
  6. Accumulated points that are not redeemed within 18 months will be considered invalid.
  7. Basco Product (K) Ltd. reserves the right to amend the expiry period of the points from time to time and shall notify the members by posting on its website and mobile app.
