Surface preparation
  • All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free from dusts, grease or any loose material.
  • For new wooden surfaces apply one coat of Duracoat Pink or White Wood Primer or Aluminium Wood Primer
  • Previously painted wooden surfaces, rub and clean all loose flaking and powdery material from the existing surface. Rub down using sand paper
  • For metal surfaces, apply one coat of Duracoat Matt Primer Red Oxide or Duracoat Zinc Phosphate Primer followed by one coat of Duracoat Universal Undercoat.
  • For plaster and cement surfaces, the surface to be painted must be dry and make sure there is no moisture on the surface. Apply one coat of Duracoat Universal Undercoat before applying
