Duracoat Quick Air-Drying Enamel provides a tough, hard-wearing finish on ferrous surfaces. It is designed for use on industrial and domestic appliances, wheelbarrows, manufactured tools etc. It is based on specially modified fast drying resins and good quality pigments and may be applied onto ferrous surfaces without priming.

Surface preparation

All metal surfaces to be sprayed or dipped must be thoroughly cleaned and rendered free from grease, moisture, rust and mill scale. Degrease the surface with a strong cleaning solvent i.e. Basco Standard Thinner or Duracoat Quick Air Drying Thinner.
If wooden surface has to be painted, it should have been well seasoned and free from any residual moisture. For good results either apply Basco sanding Sealer or Basco Autoguard Cellulose Primer prior to painting with Duracoat Quick Air Drying Enamel.
