Surface preparation

For new surface, rub down the surface and clean with Duracoat White Spirit. Apply one coat of DuraCoat Varnish stain and let it dry. Lightly sand and clean the surface
For previously Varnished surface, remove all loose and flaking varnish, sand down
For previously varnished surfaces which are in poor condition, remove all previous varnish with Duracoat paint Remover and then prepare surface as per new wood
The moisture content should not exceed 12% prior to coating.
